Street Fighter V Launch Date Announced (Updated)

SHORYUKEN!! Looks like Street Fighter V will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on February 16, 2016 in North America and Europe. This is scheduled to be announced today, during Paris Games Week. It is also suspected that Capcom will announce that Dhalsim will be making a return to the roster. This has been a rumor for quite some time that almost seems confirmed at this point. Once the official trailer is up, I’ll make sure to post it.
The game is slated to release with 16 characters, but you’ll be able to earn “Fight Money” in game to purchased the scheduled the six characters expected to be released over time via downloadable content. Looks like the site Eurogamer made the announcement a tad bit early. They have taken down the article, but the cache of it can be found HERE.
The official announcement should be coming up very soon by Capcom from the floor of Paris Games Week.
UPDATE: The Dhalsim Trailer is now up! Watch it HERE.
