The Witcher 3’s latest patch, 1.11, was released at the end of October 2015. That update fixed a number of bugs, improved technical performance in some regions, and addressed problems with the New Game Plus mode.
The Witcher 3 launched in May 2015 and has sold more than 6 million copies. Recently discovered retail listings suggested an “Enhanced Edition” of the game was coming, but CD Projekt Red quickly shot down those rumors.
GameSpot scored The Witcher 3 a 10/10 and we also recently named it our overall Game of the Year for 2015. The open-world RPG won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards and is up for the same award at March’s Game Developers Choice Awards.
