The legacy continues, as Capcom today announced Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, a collection of Mega Man’s four most recent classic side-scrolling adventures, complete with several all-new features. This is a follow up to Mega Man Legacy Collection, which contained the series’ original 8-bit titles, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 spans the evolution and retro revolution of the series which includes Mega Man 7 to 10. This collection will be available digitally for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC starting 8thAugust, 2017. Sadly, no Nintendo Switch version was announced.

The collection also includes a Museum with history and production art, challenge remix stages for long-time fans, and options like added armor and checkpoint saves for easy reload. Expect a slew of modes, and of course the Mega Man game play we all know. Yet, this collection is only four titles. Which is a bit of a shame since the first collection had the original six titles. So hopefully the extra modes gives a lot of replay value.
